Position Description: Commercial Client Manager

Our Commercial Client Manager will work with Risk Advisors to ensure complete accuracy of all content and materials for clients and trading partners of the firm. This work must be done in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities and General Duties for Farm & Ranch and Commercial Lines

Serve as an example of competency in communicating with all clients and trading partners, anticipating questions, displaying exceptional follow-up, and presenting positive solutions as an insurance consultant. Client Managers are expected to work in a team and deliver best-in-class consultative service to our clients.

Continue to learn, develop competency and work within Agency Systems to provide accurate information to colleagues, clients, and trading partners. Maintain consistency with all content specific to clients’ policies, endorsements, proposals, billing, proof of insurances and applications.

The RIG Client Managers are expected to understand all aspects of the Account Associate position with RIG, able to contribute during urgent situations.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to,

  • Consistently focus on improving the client experience with RIG at every opportunity
  • Follow policies and procedures in the Workflow Manual to maintain integrity of RIG’s data-

hygiene in EPIC.

  • All items noted under Account Associate position description.
  • Market and/or Rate new/renewal business in timely manner
  • Enter applications for Risk Advisors into EPIC and marketing at R.A.’s request and timeline.
  • Review for accuracy, develop and provide proposals for Risk
  • Process activities noted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Answer phones on assigned days.
  • Assist with mail on days that Account Associate assistance is not available (collect from Post office/mailbox & sort same day)
  • Work/Process/attach emails same day or in a timely manner.
  • Authority to process policy change requests to carriers using independent discretion and processes the changes in EPIC according tour workflow.
  • Authority to address clients’ questions & changes in a timely manner.
  • Review of mail (scan/attach/process as needed).
  • Invoice Transactions for Agency Bill policies and endorsements, process/deliver to client.
  • Review new policies/premiums for accuracy.
    • Send policies/invoices to client.
  • Request renewal information from client via Indio
    • Applications/Supplementals
    • Updated Drivers List
    • Updated Payrolls/locations/etc…
    • Updated COI/EOI list
  • Review renewal policies for accuracy & premium changes (notify Risk Advisors as needed)
  • Execute Finance Agreements as needed.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Commitment to the use of technology for improved operational efficiencies
  • High attention to detail
  • 5+ years of agency management systems experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Applied EPIC – a plus
  • Colorado P&C License 
  • High School diploma, college degree – a plus
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Naturally gifted in prioritizing the needs of the team
  • Organized, Thoughtful, Considerate and Curious
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Salary Range

  • Negotiable, depending on experience/skills
